Wholesale Beer Distributors of Texas PAC Endorses Gov. Perry for Re-election

AUSTIN – Gov. Rick Perry today received the endorsement of the Wholesale Beer Distributors of Texas (WBDT) PAC for re-election in 2010. WBDT PAC voted unanimously in support of Gov. Perry.

“Gov. Rick Perry has proven himself the strong, principled leader Texas needs to keep moving forward,” said WBDT CEO Mike McKinney. “We are eager to continue working with him to ensure that Texas is equipped to continue on its path of economic strength and opportunity.”

For more than 70 years, WBDT has represented the business and regulatory interests of Texas wholesale distributors of beer and ale before the Texas legislature and the various agencies and entities who regulate and oversee the sale and transportation of alcoholic beverages in Texas. WBDT is governed by a board of directors comprised entirely of beer distributors from around the state.
