AUSTIN – Gov. Rick Perry today received the endorsement of the Texas Economic Development Council PAC (TEDC PAC) for the general election.
“Gov. Perry's success in support of job creation and economic development in Texas is unparalleled in our state's history. Under his leadership, Texas has created more private sector jobs in the last ten years than any other state and more jobs in the last six months than any other state,” said TEDC President/CEO Carlton Schwab. “He has been at the helm of efforts to keep Texas at the forefront of the national economy and we owe a lot to his leadership.”
The Texas Economic Development Council is an Austin-based, statewide, non-profit professional association dedicated to the development of economic and employment opportunities in Texas.
