AUSTIN – Gov. Rick Perry today received the endorsement of the Texas Association of Licensed Investigators for re-election in 2010.
“We are proud to endorse Gov. Perry in his re-election bid,” said Randy Kildow, president of the Texas Association of Licensed Investigators. “Gov. Perry’s strong anti-crime measures and continued efforts toward transparency in state government give investigators the tools we need to seek out and expose fraud and crime in Texas.”
The Texas Association of Licensed Investigators is a statewide organization comprised of more than 800 private investigators. Private investigators assist in solving many crimes, including location of missing and exploited children, identity theft, robbery and even murder cases. They also save Texans millions of dollars each year in exposing insurance fraud cases. Private investigators also provide background checks to ensure safe work places and often provide law enforcement with information they do not have the time or manpower to locate.
“Texas private investigators are an important component in the effort to maintain the safety of our communities and provide assistance to our state’s law enforcement officers,” said Gov. Perry. “I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Texas Association of Licensed Investigators and look forward to our combined efforts to uphold the outstanding quality of life our citizens are able to enjoy.”
The Texas Association of Licensed Investigators joins the following organizations in their support of Gov. Perry:
Texas Association of Business BACPAC
Texas Economic Development Council PAC
Texas Municipal Police Association
Texas Nursery and Landscape Association PAC
Texas Recreational Vehicle Association
Texas Retailers Association PAC
Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association PAC
