Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth at the Republican State Convention last week in Houston. The Perry Pavilion was packed full of people all day on Thursday and Friday. It was an honor to see so many of you who were in attendance.
I'm so thankful for all the well-wishes we received about the recent tragedy at the Mansion. The Governor’s Mansion has been the home to every Texas governor since 1856. It has been a symbol of our state’s position and prestige, and it will be again. I promise that we will rebuild the Governor's Mansion, restoring a Texas treasure to its former glory.
I would also like to thank the Republican Party of Texas staff and volunteers who helped put on a great convention.
Keep coming back to my site for the latest updates on the work we're doing for you across the state and to discuss the most recent entries in our blog. Currently, we’re talking about whether or not Congress should allow off-shore energy exploration. We invite you to share your thoughts on this subject and to invite others to voice their opinions as well.
