About the Alliance

The Perry Alliance Network is a statewide coalition of Governor Rick Perry’s supporters, volunteers and online activists. Our goal is to use the internet to make supporting the governor’s re-election campaign easy, effective and fun.

It is a place for those who simply want to register their support for Governor Perry and those who want to take an active role in his re-election, either through recruiting new members or volunteering for the campaign.

Membership has its privileges. Apart from playing a key role in Governor Perry’s re-election, you have access to the members-only weblog (blog) and insider information regarding the campaign, advanced notice of upcoming events, including when the Governor will be visiting your area, and the ability to earn exclusive Perry campaign gear items like bumper stickers, t-shirts and more through our Alliance Rewards program. It’s also a unique opportunity to be a part of something groundbreaking and new. An organization of this size and scope has never been attempted before in politics.

Recruiting New Members

You can invite your family, friends and fellow Perry supporters to join the Perry Alliance Network by using our online recruitment form. Simply fill in their name and email address and they will receive an invitation to join the Alliance. If they accept the invitation, you
will receive credit for recruiting a new member and they will be part of your Perry Alliance team. Every time you recruit a new member you will receive 100 points toward your Alliance Rewards. You will also receive credit when someone on your team recruits new members, so be sure to encourage your team members to be active recruiters themselves.

Volunteer Opportunities

The Perry Alliance Network is the hub for all volunteer activities for the Governor’s campaign. We need your help to get-out-the-vote for Governor Perry and the entire Republican ticket. By registering as a Perry Volunteer, you will be contacted by campaign staff about opportunities in your area. We are opening up volunteer centers across the state, and volunteer activities include local phone banks, neighborhood block walks, staffing events with the Governor and more. Be sure to check the Perry Alliance Volunteer Calendar for upcoming opportunities to help the campaign. If you choose to register as a volunteer, you will receive an additional 100 points towards your Alliance Rewards.

Progress & Rewards

Almost everything you do on the Perry Alliance Network earns you points toward your Alliance Rewards and can be tracked in our “Progress & Rewards” section. In addition, all members are ranked and compete based on the number of points they have earned.

Blog

The Perry Alliance Blog is your source for the latest news, insider information and updates from campaign staff. We also do our fair share of comic relief on the Blog. Politics can get so ridiculous sometimes that it’s hard not to laugh and have fun. All Perry Alliance members have access to the Blog and the ability to post comments and are encouraged to participate with the discussions.
