Gov. Perry Speaks to Crowd of 1500 at Austin City Hall TEA Party

There was a great crowd at this afternoon's TEA Party at Austin City Hall. More than 1500 patriotic Texans attended the event to protest Washington's out of control spending, irresponsible bailouts, rising taxes, and the overbearing encroachment of the federal government in our daily lives.

Ross Perot Jr Praises Gov Perry for Keeping Texas Strong

Ross Perot Jr., Hillwood Development Corp & Perot Systems Corp. Chairman, in Switzerland for Davos '09, was interviewed by CNBC about the current state of the economy. Perot praised Gov. Perry and mentioned that Texas' business friendly climate has allowed it to weather the economic downturn better than other states.

Will joins Texans for Rick Perry fresh off his role as Campaign Manager for the successful race of first-time candidate Ralph Sheffield of Temple. In the past, Will worked for the Texas Public Policy Foundation and served at the Texas Office of the Attorney General.
